National Testing Agency (NTA has been bestowed with the responsibility of conducting CUET annually. It is India's second biggest UG entrance test (after JEE). CUET is the sole gateway for UG admission to the participating universities. Each year, the number of applicants and participating universities increases, leading to stiffer competition to secure seats in top colleges.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the Common University Entrance Test (CUET - UG) for admissions to undergraduate courses in various central, state, private, & many other universities in India. More than 280 universities (including 45+ central universities, like DU, BHU, JNU, JMI, Allahabad University, University of Hyderabad, etc.) fall under the purview of CUET and will accept only CUET scores as the basis of UG admission.
